How many people can join a Private lesson?

Want to have an instructor for all your friends and family? Learn how many people a private instructor will take out on the mountain.

The maximum number of participants that an instructor will take on one lesson is usually around 6 - 8 people. However, this will vary slightly between schools and instructors and will depend on personal preference and what the instructor's insurance will cover.

The primary advantage of a Private Lesson is the lower ratio of participants to instructor, which allows for a more personalised and tailored learning experience, resulting in faster skill development.

Depending on the school or individual instructor, there is a small surcharge per extra person booked into the lesson. This will be automatically adjusted on your booking form and will vary across the board. A typical example of this is €15 extra per person, per hour or lesson.

Please be aware that all participants in a lesson must be of the same ability level. In the event of mixed ability participants, the lesson will be taught at the lowest level to ensure safety and effective instruction. As a result, the lesson may not be as beneficial for participants with higher ability levels.
