How old does my child have to be to start ski school?
Each ski school has a different minimum age for their group lessons. On every lesson across our website, you will see a minimum age required for the activity.
Some ski schools will offer programs for the little ones which introduces them to skiing. The lessons will usually combine childcare and their first attempts at standing on skis. This is usually provided for children aged 3 - 4, but sometimes it can be offered for kids as young as 2.5 years in kindergartens.
If the ski school doesn't run a group lesson young enough for your little one, you can consider booking a private lesson. Most schools will teach kids as long as they can walk and jump on their own. A private lesson will give them the undivided attention of the ski instructor to get them off to the best start.
