What happens to my payment now my booking has been declined?

Will I receive a refund?

Payment is taken and held when you select the 'pay now' option at checkout.

Once you've made your booking, providers will receive your request and will either accept it, offer an amended booking, or decline the request.

If your lesson is declined by the ski school or provider, your payment will be automatically released back to your account. Please allow up to 10 days for the funds to be returned.

Likewise if you choose to decline an amendment offer, your payment will be automatically released back to your account.

Sometimes, this will go through in the form of a reversal, meaning the original transaction to SkiBro will be removed. You will not see this as a refund in your account.

All of our transactions are facilitated by the payment service, Stripe, which maintains the most stringent level of certification for security and encryption.
